An Apothecary Made With Purpose.
Hightower Tallow Co. began with a simple desire to create thoughtful, handcrafted tallow products.
But the more I worked with tallow, the more I realized there was another story waiting to be told.
I began moving away from simply scenting products and toward slowly infusing the tallow itself with herbs, flowers, roots, and resins.
That changed everything.
My workspace slowly became an apothecary filled with jars of botanicals, warm infusions, handmade soaps, balms, creams, and formulations in development.
Today, that process is becoming the heart of Hightower Tallow Co.
Not mass-produced skincare. Not another jar of ordinary tallow.

Our name comes from 2 Samuel 22:3: 'My God is my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my High Tower...' That verse is the foundation for all we do here.

Each product is handcrafted in small batches using grass-fed tallow and botanicals that have been slow-infused to capture their full essence. Our apothecary is a space where tradition meets craftsmanship, creating premium skincare that honors both the land and your skin.
Every botanical in our formulations is chosen with intention — slowly infused into tallow to allow the naturally occurring compounds of the plants to become part of the finished product.
Frankincense and myrrh resins. Calendula blossoms. Roses and rosehips. Rosemary. Gotu kola. Chamomile.
These are the botanicals at the heart of Hightower.

We don't simply add botanicals to finished tallow. We give them time.
Our botanical ingredients are slowly infused into tallow, allowing the oils and naturally occurring compounds of the plants to become part of the finished formulation.
Frankincense and myrrh resins. Calendula blossoms. Roses. Rosemary. Chamomile. Rose hips. Gotu kola — and other carefully chosen botanicals.
Then we thoughtfully finish our formulations with complementary oils and ingredients such as rosehip, sea buckthorn, squalane, jojoba, castor oil, vitamin E, and bakuchiol.

I've been using this whipped tallow for a little while now, and I'm honestly impressed. The texture is light, smooth, and easy to apply, and a little goes a long way.
I've noticed my skin feels much softer, more hydrated, and healthier since I started using it. It works great on dry spots, and I love that it's made with simple, natural ingredients.
The quality is excellent, and you can tell a lot of care went into making it. If you're looking for a natural moisturizer that actually works, I would definitely recommend giving this whipped tallow a try. I'll definitely be purchasing it again!
